Abhishek Raghuram is a Carnatic vocalist. He learned music from his grandfather, the mridangam legend, Palghat Raghu and is currently a student of Shri. P.S. Narayanswamy. He represents a new standard in improvised South Indian vocal music. He also has a keen interest in rhythm and plays mridangam and khanjira. He had the fortune to study khanjira from the percussion master, G. Harishanker.
